This site is for Shell Pipe Line Retirees. It is used to provide updated information to our members and contact information so we can continue to stay in touch.
We are in the process of updating the old web page "SPLC-R.com" and moving the information from the old web page to this new and more organized, hopefully, site.
Our Story
About 20 years ago, Laurie Rice ask me if there was any way I could build a telephone book type of Web Page that would list Shell Pipe Line retirees telephone and email addresses. Not knowing anything about building web pages, I set out for a new adventure gathering information and building this web site. The scope began to creep and we started getting a lot of information about all kinds of thing that were of interest to pipeliners.

We are supported by donations usually collected at the yearly luncheons held here in Houston in March each year.
